🙏 QR Codes for Donations — Temples, NGOs & Drives
The donation box went digital the day UPI arrived. A printed donation QR at the temple counter, on the NGO's pamphlet or at the community drive lets anyone give in ten seconds — no cash handling, no change, a clean digital trail for the trust's books.
Pair the payment QR with a link-page QR that shows what the funds do — photos, receipts, 80G details — and donations rise with the trust.

Is a UPI donation QR safe to print publicly?
Yes — a UPI QR can only receive money into the printed VPA, never withdraw. Do laminate it and check it periodically: sticker-swap fraud (pasting another QR on top) targets donation boxes; a daily glance prevents it.
Can donors get 80G receipts?
Keep the 80G certificate behind a document QR so donors can verify instantly, and collect donor details for receipts via a WhatsApp QR ('Scan and send us your name + PAN for the receipt'). For automated receipts, a payment-page system works better than a bare UPI code.
What placement collects the most?
Eye-level at the exit — people give after the experience, not before. At events, one QR per table/stall beats one big standee; for NGOs, the QR on every pamphlet and social post keeps the door always open.
