Yes. Both iOS and Android read WiFi QR codes with the built-in camera — no extra app. Scanning shows a "Join network" prompt.
Is my WiFi password visible in the QR code?
The password is encoded in the QR (that's how phones join), so anyone who scans it can technically read it. Treat the printed QR like the password itself — display it only where guests are welcome.
What happens if I change my WiFi password?
A static WiFi QR stops working — you'd reprint it. WiFi QRs are static by nature since phones need the credentials offline, so keep the print handy to swap.
Which security types are supported?
The generator uses WPA/WPA2, which covers almost every home and business router. Open networks and WEP are legacy and not recommended.
